Team Four Meeting - (Open)

Pendo stood calmly and peacefully in a large field of tall grass, the lush green blades of greenery wavering under the gentle curling breeze. The upper-most part of the flaming sun slightly protruded from the fluffy white clouds above. The sky was near perfectly blue besides for a single section that lay across the northern horizon, which lay pink with a purplish tint. The amount of sound within the area was minuscule, besides the occasionally mixed cawing sound of a flock of birds that wistfully glided over head, with little attention paid to anything besides their route. The skilled Konoha Jounin actually had a slight admiration for birds, but more-so for sharks. Always moving forward both were, but Sharks differed from birds in the sense that they never would or could stop moving forward.

Once anyone thought about it, they would easily be able to see why Pendo had acquired the nickname of "Konoha's White Shark". His straight-forward tactics, ferocity, and quick intellect made him extremely similar to a shark. The white part of the name, obviously, referred to the Great white Shark, which is one of the toughest sharks in existence. It was true, most considered Pendo a dangerous adversary, but he knew for himself that he had a lot to learn. His skills weren't even near to that of his true potential. He trained night and day to become the greatest he could be, but that could very well be far away. Despite this, he was much more skilled than a lot of shinobi out there. Maybe that was why he was entrusted with a team of Genin, team four.


Consisting of team four were him and three other genin, whom he had yet to learn the names of. He supposed that they would soon turn up and he would learn their names. The jounin wasn't all too interested in getting to know them, but more so to see what they were like, and to determine their strengths and weaknesses. He would put them all under intense and heavy training, after allowing them to first think that he is a leniunt and laid-back sensei. He'd like to take them out for ramen and some other things, before suddenly springing on training and taking them by complete surprise. It seemed like a good enough plan, get their hopes up and crush them. Self confidence should not be built, but destroyed; that was his philosophy for a great shinobi. Self confidence leads to mistakes, and mistakes would be unacceptable.

Endaime had been up all night in excitement for this day. His bagel sitting on the plate in front of him, Orange juice, and an apple. He sat there just staring at it, not even able to eat due to the butterflies he was receiving for this event, meeting his new squad. He looked around trying to find something to do for the next five minutes, and he was going to leave. He looked through his backpack, put his bagel and apple inside, and finished his Orange juice. He slipped on his gloves, left first... then right... then checked his weapons pouch. He had been informed that supply needed to be in stock for meeting his new squad and sensei. So a week before, he purchased one hundred kunai, and sixty shuriken.

He had only packed ten kunai and five shuriken, being able to restock everytime he came back to the village. He rubbed his gloves together, due to the damp air floating around in the Leaf Village. He looked out the window and the sun rose out of the sky. The warmth gave him a tingle on his neck, and he gave off a big smile. He jumped to the front window, and leaped out like a frog. "According to the information at the Academy... I have to meet my sensei in the fields." He thought of which fields he knew of in Konoha.. and... "Got it."

Endaime hopped from building to building steadily focusing his chakra to make him jump even higher ever moment, and arrived at the open field right before Konoha's training grounds. He spotted a rather tall average sized shinobi holding a... katana... on his back. He stepped into the grass, enjoying every sound that the crunching of nature made. He inhaled deeply, and waved at his Sensei. As he reached maybe five to seven feet away from him, Endaime formed a fist in his right hand and punched it into his own left. "I'm Endaime Mokuzan, performing in Medical Arts and Insane Taijutsu." He patted his own knees, getting the short feeling of wetness, and looked back up at his sensei.

"I am guessing I am the first one here?" Endaime gave off a calm and joyful aura, and a wide open smile was on his face.
