hmn i didnt think of it that way but by rewatching it hmn i see where you conintation of the video is. although would be screwed up give him your arm and he cant but it on himself and attach the nerves while having to cut his own arm off lol

It really isn't something that would make me cry, but it is a little dissapointing, it kinda reminds me of something KH would do.

I cried the first time I saw this, which was a long while ago. I honestly can't believe how ignorant and inconsiderate some of you are being, though. I suppose I can spell it out for you.

With a glass wall seperating them, yet still having each other, and only each other, their only form of communication was through writing backwards on the glass with chalk. When you feel like you're alone, but you seem to have someone who you can't exactly touch or speak face to face with, yet you have some form of communication, it's difficult not to form some attachment to that person. In their little world, all they had was each other. In desperation to hold the girl he loved, the boy attempted to break the glass, and free them from this lonliness. However, the glass regenerated, and took his arm as the price. So the next day, the girl gladly cut off her other arm, the one she didn't write with, yet the one he normally would write with, and wrapped it for him. She then tossed the box over the wall, obviously like he did with the chalk, giving him her other arm so that they could still communicate with each other; so they could draw together.

Now, of course, in reality, he wouldn't be able to just use the arm. It's not about that, it's symbolism. She was showing she would gladly make a sacrafice, as he did in losing his arm, to be together. And honestly, to really be moved by the video, you have to look deeper, which is really up to the person. I for one, looked at it very deeply, and related with the video, hence why I was emotionally moved.

I can understand if you don't understand. However, I believe you should think before you judge another's feelings, emotions, thoughts, or otherwise. If you didn't like the video for whatever reason, that's fine, that's your opinion. Just try to be more considerate, and less ignorant to other's feelings. You might come off as insulting. I don't be to sound mean, or scolding. But I ask that you just consider the effects of your actions. ^^;

I like this video, didnt cry but it was very moving all the same

It's just a video, jeez. I can see how people become a little upset about it, and it does represent stuff which happens in real life. People are really lonely like that. But you have to look at the positives, they still had each other and with what she gave him they could still write together.
