Bloody Rice

Kenshiki left the Leaf village at dawn, he had a good ways to go to reach the Rice Country's Sound village. He decided to travel through the forests, he had the whole day ahead of him, so he didn't have to worry about getting caught in a open area. He was alone, with only his thoughts to keep him company.

After about two hours of peaceful walking he looked up in the sky and watched a cloud go by. He reached an opening in the forest and decided to take a break. He skipped breakfest so now was as good of a time as any other for a quick meal. He reached in his vest and pulled out a bar, and unwrapped it. as he ate he listened to the sounds of the forest. He stood up quickly dropping his food, and reached for one of his swords.

He listened closer and noticed that he didn't hear any natural sounds. No birds, chipmunks, or any others. he knew something was wrong, he scanned the area for any signal of what caused the animals to be silent

(Enemy)

The ninja traveled through the forest searching for his target. He wore a black, hooded cloak over his chainmail and vest which concealed scrolls containing various symbols some of which had the leaf village's insignia. He received a report from his leader that the leaf village would send someone to investigate what happened in the rice country, and his job was to elimate the ninja before they could interfere with their plans.

He located the route that the ninja was takeing, through spies. And soon after beating the ninja he would be recognized by his leader, and would move up a rank. He found a good size primeter to set up his trap for the leaf ninja.

"It is time," The ninja stated to himself after everything was set up. He waited as the leaf ninja got into the area, then opened the srcoll and, useing his chakra, mixed with his blood, imprinted a symbol on the scroll. "Awaken," he said more to himself rather than the creature that was released, from the leaf scroll.

The creature that rose from the scroll was approximently four feet tall, by six feet long. its fangs were a foot along, and the claws were half that. The hound that was summoned reeked of blood, and was snarling, at the summoner wanting to tear him apart. but the creature knew that it couldn't. It looked to the summoner and was given the order to attack the leaf ninja who was resting in the nearby clearing.

The beast crept through the bushes make little to no noise. It had its mission and was going to complete it. Now the beast could see its target looking around in confusion, noticeing that the creature's smell, drove away most animals. The creature then jumped to ponce on its target. It didn't like the idea of being caught, before it could strike its opponent's neck.

Kenshiki saw a shadow jump from the bush, he could not make out the shape, but he guess by the height it was human, and figured from the smell of blood that it wasn't nice. He started to unshealth one of his swords, but stopped and used the shealth as a shield to block its fangs from his neck. Both Kenshiki and the creature were pulling on the shealth now and Kenshiki had enough time to get a glance at the beast. It was a sandish color wolf who reeked of blood.

Kenshiki released his grip on the shealth to pull his sword out. This caught the beast by surprise, and it stumbled back, then spat out the shealth. Neither one were moving an inch, both watching their opponent, wait for them to open up to an attack that could end this. Kenshiki was shifting his eyes around, he assumed that this creature was summoned because he didn't recall hearing any rumors about it.

Kenshiki looked around in vain, if the creture indeed was summoned, then he was out of sight.
