Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. The ability to summon more advanced animals largely depends upon the amount of chakra the ninja can muster to perform the jutsu. To summon the creature the ninja will wipe blood on the hand, perform the necessary handseals and then touch their hand to the ground or another object. Though it appears that as long as significant pressure is placed against the blood in some form, the summon will be complete. There can be variations to the summoning steps, some ninja like Temari will wipe blood on her fan, then by swinging the fan the animal is summoned. Other ninja like Orochimaru wipe the blood across a snake tattoo on their arm first, then touch the ground.

Story: As an Anbu Rika went across the boarders of the fire country into many other countries and villages. On one of those trips she posed as an old lady, a trader, that was going to the lightning country. On the way they were attacked by a group of bandits. The mission was completely undone, as Rika had to transform into herself and fight the bandits. She was victorious pretty easily. But as she was packing to head back to konoha, Rika heard a strange voice. This voice led her into the woods. Once in the woods she walked around for two hours hunting for the owner of the voice and finally found him. He was lying on a rock near the edge of a stream. When he saw Rika he smiled lightly, and then he started speaking. The man spoke of a long history of birds and bird folklore. He asked Rika if she belived in an animal called a phoenix. Rika was sceptical and told him no. He got up slowly and she realized how old the man accually was. He was decrepit. She watched him walk to his cave and slowly return with a scroll and a pack. He winked at her and formed a couple handsigns. He then cut a pretty big gash on his palm and slammed it to the ground. A large puff of smoke appeared and the air got extremely hot. A dark powerful voice boomed over the area. " Kiskue, Why have you summoned me to this place after all these years." The old man gathered his remaining strength and yelled to the giant bird whose firey wings scorched the area. "I summoned you to show this youngster here who she has to watch out for. She will be the newest addition to our family."he said and sat down. The bird looked down and, after scanning Rika for one or two minutes the bird dissapeared. The old man motioned for Rika to come to him. He opened the scroll and instructed her to make her mark in her own blood. Rika did and the man smiled. "Make sure you keep this safe and pass it on to your own youngster when the time is right."he said. He then walked back to his cave waving as he went. This strange accuantance gave Rika her summoning contract.
