Looks: Roark is a tall boy, about the height of 6"2. He has jet-black hair that is always messy, sticking out. He has bright green eyes and a kind face. He has an average build and doesn't look nearly as strong as he is. He generally wears a blood red jacket that has a large letter "R" written on the back. He wears black pants and black, fingerless gloves. He has a scabbard that rests on his hip at all times.
Personality: Roark is a good person by heart. He would help anyone or anything in trouble if need be. But his mood changes quickly. He can be relaxed at one moment and then fired up the next. However, he usually retains a laid-back attitude and is certainly one for mocking others. However, he is always ready to back up his words with his power and won't take a second glance back. He is also very reckless, going into battle without thinking of the consequences.
Personality Trait's: Although Roark loves the use of lightning ninjutsu techniques, he also prefers to use his blade as well. He often fuses his ninjutsu with his blade for devestating attacks. He has been trained since birth of how to wield a sword and is quite adept at it. Since he focuses on that, his ninjutsu isn't quite as strong but is up there, however, the rest of his jutsus are not.

Special Characteristics: Roark has been trained to use his blade since birth. He uses his blade in elemental and ninjutsu attacks to create combos and uniquee attacks. He almost always uses his blade in an attack.

Appearance: It is a sword that has a light blue tint to it's cold, metal grey. It's hilt is blood red and it is designed to slice clean through any object without fail. It is a slender blade.

Special Abilities: Is is nearly unbreakable. Composed of a metal that his father discovered.
Origin: Roark's father had used the blade years before him. His father had been a war hero, and had used the blade while leading his shinobi team to victory to win back his country's independance. When his father had been killed in a tragic accident during a fight, Roark was given the blade as an infant. When the time came that he was old enough, his grandfather begain training him how to weild it properly.

Description: This jutsu is used while Roark's blade is out. He focuses his chakra intensely, doing a few simple handsings as lightning suddenly courses throughout his blade. Within seconds, the entire blade is composed of the lightning element and steel. The chakra that sparked the lightning doesn't stop there, it also runs throughout Roark's body as well, but it is controlled by his chakra and will. Instead of electricuting his body, he is instead energized and his abilities are raised largely. He can now run at least 3 times as fast and can hit twice as powerful as before.
Background Information: Roark grew up never having a father but hearing all the stories about him. He had been an amzing war hero back in the war that had torn apart his country. That country, no longer existed. Roark, as far back as he could remember, had lived with his grandfather in the Lightning Nation. They lived relatively well, leading a normal life as best possible. Roark was special however, as his grandfather had trained him sicne birth to fight and live by the sword. By the age of ten, Roark was more adept with a blade than most men entering the army. Roark grew with his grandfather, improving his skills everyday, determined not to let down the man whose son had been a hero. The day eventually came that Roark's grandfather died and he was left alone. Saddened by this fact, Roark decided to become a shinobi, vowing to work his best at it. No doubt his sword skills, which were currently at a state near swordmaster, would come in handy.
