Name: Bu-Meran Katana (Boomerang Sword or Katana)

Appearance: This boomerang is 4 feet and 3 inches long from tip to tip and is 15 inches at its widest point. Other than that the boomerang is as the picture appears, expect the two, protruding handles on the back of boomerang are not there on Kigen's weapon. However this is still a bar connecting the two ends and middle. It is this bar and the two ends (like in the picture) that Kigen holds when wielding his weapon.

Special Abilities: The Bu-Meran is made of metal that has chakra conductivity. Also, while Kigen’s chakra is going through the Bu-Meran, Kigen can use his boomerang as a base for some jutsus. Note: Kigen does not know any of these jutsus yet and will need to train to be able to learn them.

Origin: The Bu-Meran belonged to Kigen’s mother. After her murder, Kigen was able to salvage the Bu-Meran and now uses it as his own.

If the handles on the inside aren't there, where is the blade held? What you are largely describing is chakra conductivity. As for the weapon becoming harder to be seen due to chakra influences, that will have to be taken out as it makes no sense.

You will have to explain why putting chakra into the weapons speeds up it's flight speed if you want to keep that, otherwise take it out and have the weapon just be chakra conductive. A complex mechanism for making the boomerang faster may also make the weapon a higher rank. Please bear that in mind.

hmmm, in your opinion which would be a better mechanism for increasing the speed then?
1-while Kigen's chakra is channeling in the Bu-Meran the chakra creates a thin field around the boomerang which causes the air resistance against the Bu-Meran is decreased by 50% therefore allowing the Bu-Meran to travel at 50% higher speeds.

2-While kigen's chakra is channeling through the Bu-Meran the overall wieght of the Bu-Meran is decreased by 50% allowing the boomerang to travel at 50% higher speeds

3-While Kigen's chakra is channeling through the Bu-Meran the chakra allows Kigen to amplify the power behind his throws slightly resulting in a speed increase of 50%

I would make a jutsu to use the third method and make the boomerang just a flat C rank.
