Outside of the village, one can find many things to explore on such a glorious night. The bright white stars which sparkles with radiant beauty tried its hardest to become visible behind the dark black clouds. The pale moon above the village was a beautiful sight to see. Although with its natural features there was something different about it this night, it seemed larger and one could feel a powerful aura pulsing their body when staring at it. The moon was something that brought calmness and balance to the night sky, symboling a rebirth of the new day to come. Many people hated it, for the darkness that it brought to their village. Many evil things happen under its light, things that a man should not witness. The breeze in the dessert was chilling, like the moon itself was whispering to the sand. Gradually it picked up and dropped again, like a unbalanced scale that kept shifting. The sand had a warm sensation in its grains, probably due to the intense heat from the sun when it settled in Suna. Junji stood there, and looked down into the dessert like a eternal abyss of darkness.

Junji stood in the sand peacefully, powerful and elegant in every way. His brown brown which came down to his calves tossed and turned behind him, mimicking the flow of the wind. His short red hair stood on his head like needles coated with blood, all spiked and steady. His great hat which he wore when wearing his Kazekage attire hanged on his shoulders, reaching all the way down to his lower back. Two big drapes which looked similar to scars dangled from the hats edges, glistening with the moonlight itself. He also wore his fishnet shirt, and black sweat pants like the good old days. Its been long since he wore something so casual, or something he was use to. For weeks he has been wearing traditional attires and robes that the members of the high council usually wear, and being Kazekage he was required to wear it. He didn't hate it though, but he found the whole 'dress to impress' logic not suited for his lifestyle. Luckily no one noticed what he was wearing now, nor did they notice him at all.

"Its been so long since I been out here." He said while looking down at the ground solemnly. His face began to sink, and his true age started to show threw his youthful appearance. Although a somewhat old man, Junji had the appearance of a teenage boy due to special medication. Although being very youthful his organs still age with time, making him eternally old. He never liked getting old, nor being classified as one. Many villagers found it silly of him looking young and being the Kazekage, maybe it was a stereotype Jujnji wanted to break that all Kages were old. There were some Kages in history that were very young, although most of them died before they reached their thirties. The wind began to pick up, and Junji slowly crossed his arms. He wasn't far from the village, but he was at a good distance where Sunagakure took only a small percentage of his viewpoint.

Junji was out in the dessert due to multiple reasons, non of which he was willing to explain. Sneaking out of the village wasn't a act that he was proud of, but it was the only way for him to get some alone time. Its been a while since hes been by himself, and transitioning from a village elder to a Kazekage wasn't a easy task. Living a peaceful life in the village inner circle alone, then moving into a Administration building with paperwork and meetings was dreadful for him.But in all else he had to watch over the village, and that was something that motivated him every day. Standing out there, Junji had a lot on his mind, yet nothing at all. He didn't expect company, but everything is not what it seems nowadays.

The wind breezed by carrying with it a gust of sand that blurred Tenshu's view for a moment. Awhile off from the village, this was Tenshu's perfect training spot, and his own. The reason he travelled out here was because it allowed him the privacy to train and not to be interrupted by unwanted visitors. The set-up was custom built by him, Tenshu had many different things set up here. One was several practice targets for jutsu or just bashing up, another were hardened wood, that normal people couldn't break and non-Taijutsu users struggled with, so it made perfect training for Tenshu, and what looked like puppets. Tenshu wasn't a puppet user, but on the back of them were training dummies, infused with a number of seals, this puppet couldn't preform jutsu, but it was a strong Taijutsu user, making it good for Tenshu to train against. Activated and disabled by Tenshu's chakra, it was made so no one else could use it. About five of them were scattered around, made up of the hardened wood, a head, a two piece torso connected by a joint that allowed human like motion, arms and legs both with joints for flexibility.

Smirking with a little 'hmph' noise, Tenshu stood around 5 feet and was quite lean. His brown looking, due to all the sand and dust, hair, crazy spiked and stylish, the young boy's eyes were a shade of green, showing he was happy and excited about this. The dashing ninja crouched down ready to spring at a moment's notice. Holding his hand up, he activated some chakra, making all five of the puppets jump to life and ready to attack him. Grinning slightly he thought, 'This will be too easy.' Popping his neck was what set the puppets off, all of them coming at Tenshu from several different angles. Each aiming for a different spot on it, Tenshu always did his best to try not to use jutsu against them, training his Taijutsu solely. Watching as one aimed for his leg, he turned his leg slightly so it would skin his leg and used the foot that was skimmed as a pivot point aiming his other foot at the puppet's face. Sending that puppet tumbling away, two of the other puppets missed with Tenshu's maneuvers making for two more attacking. One striking him directly in the side, beneath his rib cage, Tenshu winced slightly but was knocked out of air as the second one collided with his gut. Stumbling backwards, Tenshu was then bombarded from behind as one latched himself onto Tenshu. Narrowing his eyes, he saw the two that hit him run towards him.

Falling backwards, he fell straight down into the sand, burying the puppet slightly allowing the other two to be midair when Tenshu was on the ground. Cocking his legs back, he launched them upwards as they flew over him. Taking this moment, Tenshu moved quickly into the air alongside them. Landing several powerful hits on their weak spots, they were 'stunned' momentarily. Then swinging above them, Tenshu aimed his foot high as he could, and swung it down with massive force, shattering part of the puppet as it plummeted to earth, cracking slightly more. Then grabbing the second puppet by the head, he placed his body on top of the wooden figure's and came crashing on top of it, destroying the one that was previously in the air with the second dummy crashing into it. Grinning, two down, three to go.

But as Tenshu looked for them, they were down already. "Damn, seals must've gotten messed again, I gotta get that fixed..." Tenshu was mumbling softly as he plopped down onto the sand and pulled out a sack of food and began to eat silently and slowly, enjoying the peace and quiet.

Standing out in the cold dessert, memories coiling down his face. Junji stood there with his eyes closed, thinking about the best memories he had. "Takiyo..." He thought while a long drown out sigh at the end. Sorrow drowned his face as soon as he thought that name, a name that brought painful memories. War, vengeance, and wrath. Those were the elements that a battlefield will never lack, a equation where death was its final solution. Junji thought of the young boy Takiyo while standing there, a young Ninja who traveled the world with his brother. Back in the glory days during the Great Ninja War, when Junji was a talented young medic on the field he came across many children in need of help. But this one, Takyo... had a aura about him that was legend. Instantly Junji knew saw this, and after saving his life he accepted him as a apprentice. Years later he died during a Ninja crusade in Rain Village, and Junji has yet since healed from that injury. Ironic, someone so immortal like Junji living in such pain.

Slowly widening his eyes Junji stepped forward. He continued to walk threw the sand, letting his mind soar wherever it decided to go. Every step he took threw the sand seemed forever. The moon was now right above the dessert, shining ever so brightly upon the sand. The temperature started to drop, and the cool breezes quickly made its way to Junji. Junji's head was down, he watched the sand beneath him flicker up with every step. "Maybe I should be getting back to the village." He said softly, almost like a whisper. Looking farther down the sandy path he saw the image of a boy a few yards in front of him, then more images became visible.

"Hmmm?" Junji thought while tilting his head. "A villager out in this time of night? Oh heck no!" He said with anger and annoyance in his voice. For the past week or so himself and the Chuunin guards have been dealing with wanderers for quite some time. Since the death of Kazekage Sumi it has gotten worse, some villagers have been leaving and some thieves have been entering the village. He felt his notable attitude problem rising with every second. For years Junji has been known for his undying tough exterior and anger issues, a bad trait for a Kazekage but a good trait for a solider. Junji figured the boy was probably some kid who sneaked past the guards. Clutching his fists he wanted to teach the boy a lesson, with minor force Junji slammed his right fist towards the ground. As soon as his powerful punch landed a powerful shock wave launched towards the little brat, rupturing the ground as it made its way. The speed of the shock wave was immensely fast, it will take only seconds or less for the young boy to react.

Several desert critters were bathing on the heated rocks from the sun all day. Placing his hand on a rock nearby, it was warm and tingled his senses as he sighed from the relaxation from the heat being emitted from the rock. Removing his hand from the rock he reached into his back pouch and withdrew a paint brush and some black ink and placed it in the sand. Slowly he got up and collected all 5 practice dummies, and dragged them over to the ink and paintbrush, carrying them with no problem at all. Normally it'd take a normal Genin at least two or three trips to carry them all, but Tenshu wasn't like most Genin, he had stupendous strength and had no trouble carrying the heavy wooden dummies. Tossing them on the ground, like they were pieces of paper, Tenshu fell down onto the sand and sprayed dust and sand everywhere.

Coughing and covering his watery eyes, Tenshu picked up the paintbrush and opened the bottle of ink. Carefully flipping one of the dummies over to expose the seal, he notices how it was scratched and faded away, causing it to short live itself. Sighing, Tenshu closed his eyes and concentrated as he dipped the brush into the ink slightly and ran it alone the edge to wipe off any excess ink and prevent it from running everywhere. Biting his lip, he carefully made precise strokes and filled in the gaps and sharpened up the seals.

Working carefully and swiftly, Tenshu spent a couple of minutes before getting to the last one. The rest of them were lined up in front of him and he was going to make the final stroke when suddenly the ground shuddered and ruptured the ground beneath him sending spilt ink over all of the training dummies. It'd take forever to fix those now. His eyes turning from a dark brown, slowly turning into a blood red, Tenshu jumped up ferious ready to strike. "Who the h-" Tenshu spun around to see the Kazekage behind him. Color fled from his face as his blood red turned to a blue showing his sadness/scaredness at the behalf of his Kage out here. "Kazekage Junji!" Tenshu dropped to his knees bowing before his lord.

Then thinking about it, it was late and he was out past hours, "I'm sorry Kazekage, I lost track of time, I was practicing my Taijutsu and got so wrapped up in it!" Tenshu's young voice rambled on as he was scared and tried to repay his respects for being disrepectful towards his Kazekage.

Since the death of Kazekage Sumi and the start of Kazekage Junji, security around the village had been tightened. A few had tried to escape in grief. It was not as if they weren't giving Kazkeage Junji a chance, it was just the fact they had been so attached to Kazekage Sumi. Kankiro for one, liked the idea of Kazekage Junji over Kazekage Sumi. He wasn't as... old. But he would never let on about it.

Like most nights Kankiro had wanted to go out and wander in the dark. But the tighter security made it increasingly difficult. It was as if they were all over the place. Wearing his brown robes, he crept around the buildings. Althought there was no reason for him to not wander the village at such hours, he wasn't taking any risks. He looked up in the guard towers and saw several Chuunin.

Putting his hand behind his back and burrowing it under the scroll in his sack, he flipped his hand up and projected the scroll into the air. Before it even hit the floor he said; "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" and his trusted puppet appeared in a puff of smoke, Koroko. He had attached chakra strings to Koroko and in order to distract teh guards, he threw Koroko past the tower and into the night sky.

His plan was to substitute himself with Koroko so he would be outside the village wall and summon Koroko back to his scroll unharmed. As planned, the guards went nuts after seeing Koroko flying through the air. He waited until he saw Koroko dip behind the other side of the wall and then; "Kawarimi no Jutsu!" He disappeared in a puff of smoke and then summoned Koroko back to his scroll.

He landed on the sand softly. His plan had worked. "I hope I don't have to do something like that every night just to come and have a walk." he thought to himself. Then he felt it. A rumble in the sand, almost like an earthquake. He ran over to where it was coming from, and saw Kazekage Junji and a Suna Genin.

Stealthily, Kankiro walked up behind the Kazekage, keeping himself out of the Genin's view as well. He heard a snippet of the conversation-

Quote :
"I'm sorry Kazekage, I lost track of time, I was practicing my Taijutsu and got so wrapped up in it!"

At this point, Kankiro lost control of himself, and just laughed at the kid, making his presence known.
