Wheres my corpse? (Tenji)[Closed]

Rain, for centuries it has poured down on our earth, symbolizing sorrow and misfortune. Its something that has always been here, and will never leave. Sumi compared it to War, either with another country, or with yourself. There will always be a constant struggle, just like there will always be rain. Thus as it pours into our beloved earth, our battlefield, our home, Sumi knew that the end was near. Its been six months since he looked into the eyes of the Devil himself, the man who brings destruction with every footstep. The great leader of the terrorist Akatsuki, had been finally tracked and now its time for the assassination. Many questioned Sumi on why he temporarily left the village, seeing as how he became the new Kazekage and just awoken from a coma. But the leader of the Akatsuki, was the one man Sumi will personally see to his destruction. As Sumi looked into the sea, he couldn't help try to remember his name. Oh that name, quite ironic that Sumi would forget such a name that has brought such pain. “Near.” He thought while quenching his fist.

On his journey to the Moon Country were his trackers located Near, Sumi brought along two body guards, and a young Genin from his village. Strange right? But Kazekage Sumi does a lot of strange things, yet hes probably one of the most powerful ninja's in the world. Both his bodyguards were elite Anbu who were top in his village. As both of them whore they're Anbu uniforms Sumi couldn't help but remember his glory days, he had good times when he was a Anbu, but sorrowful memories. As Gira, and Pakumi stand to his right holding giant golden umbrellas over his head, Sumi eyes drifted from the sea to the young boy to his left. A smile formed without his knowing as he looked at the boy from his home village. The next generation, the next power, the next hope of Suna, may rest on this boys shoulders one day.

Although feeling guilty of bringing such a young person along on such a dangerous mission, he had a talent that Sumi thought will help. Usually he would never put such a young Suna Genin at risk, but Sumi vowed to protect him, even if he has to put his life on the line. Hopefully Near would be defeated upon they're arrival of his corpse, if not, then a epic battle may occur. You may be wondering what the Kazekage would want with Near's corpse? Well, Sumi being the legendary puppet master that he is always working on something... more. The corpse of the Akatsuki leader will be the greatest human puppet of all time, and its that power that Sumi craves. With the help of young Genin Tenju, that dream shall manifest itself to reality.

Deciding that wearing his Kazekage gown to a mission wouldn't be professional in his opinion, Sumi whore his casual gear which he used to wear as a Jounin. His big brown cloth jacket, his black fishnet shirt, and black sweat pants may be outdated but not out styled. Looking down the shore the image of a dock appeared to be coming closer and closer. Sumi placed his hands on Tenju's shoulders, and placed a warming smile on his face. “Were almost there, are you ready young man?” Sumi asked with a soft yet deep tone.

There was nothing that could explain the feeling that Tenju had inside him. To others would seem more like exciting and weakful. But to Tenju that feeling seemed more like power and the coming of something so big,it might change his future. He knew he was just a young Genin from Suna and he had just started his journey being one too. But this would not stop him from achieving the great goals in his life. He was informed to go with the Kazekage to the Moon country,and this was one mission he would not let down on. Not sure of what the Kazekage wanted from him,but he was sure he would know along the way while going to the Moon Cuntry. A place he had never gone to before, a place so exotic and beautiful. Although it was known to be the home of the Akatsuki. An organization that brought fear in it times, and still do from time to time.

Tenju knew this was dangerous for him to wander along dangerous places, but at the same time he came along with great company. The Kazekage himself and two other ninjas, from the looks of their clothes and masks,they were Anbu. They have been with both of us as a matter of guards. They didn't looked too impressive if you'd ask Tenju,but they were Anbu for a reason.

Tenju like always tought of himself as simple, so for this time he wore his normal clothing for this mission. Along with his metal bands that strapped his hair together into two pony tails sliding across his back. He wore a single white shirt,which were outlined by red lines. His long blue pants,and his usual smal weapons in his back pouch. Hanging from his pants there were these two scrolls, which obtained every puppet he had. Making it an easier way to move and carry them to places. If something were to happen, he would slide it open and summon them at will. Tenju knew he had fine and rare jutsus,and maybe this was the purpose of this. All Tenju knew was that the Kazekage was looking for a rather better material to make a puppet, or in another way, to make his strongest puppet. Maybe, just maybe, Tenju would have the honor to get a puppet from the Kazekage himself, and Tenju hoped so too.

After a few miles walked, Tenju noticed a small dock, which he knew that's where they would be at to depart and leave to their locations. The Moon Country was far away so it might take them a little while before they get there. And the rain itself it ain't gonna help them to get faster. Apart of the rain it was cloudy and the clouds were starting to move fast,bringign more rain every second they stood there. Tenju looked at the Kazekage himself, with his high stature about him. And that was soemthing he admired from him. Tenju looked at him and smiled, as the Kazekage placed his hand on Tenju's shoulder and spoke to him. With all the rain falling on top of him made it unclear and hard for Tenju to hear what he had said. But he managed to hold on and heard a few words. "Uuumm.... Im alright, just you know, a little nervous about the whole thing Lord Kazekage." Tenju said as he kept on walking and trying to forget about the whole thing that was happening at the moment.

"Uuumm.... Im alright, just you know, a little nervous about the whole thing Lord Kazekage." As he spoke these words a feeling a guilt flushed Sumi's face as his eyes drifted from the boy to the ground. Putting Tenju in danger was the last thing Sumi wanted to do, but in the life of the ninja we must all do things we don't want to. After a few seconds of silence Sumi spoke words once more. “Don't be afraid young one, I'll protect you with my life if needed.” Sumi said bravely while smiling at him. The two Anbu looked at each other for a brief moment and looked at Sumi. Was it amazement or stupidity they saw in they're Kazekage once he spoke these words? Giving his precious life for a small Genin, but as Sumi always say. “Young people just don't understand.”



Inside the large wooden ship Sumi found himself lost in its architectural beauty. It was obvious that this ship was very old, due to the Ayomi wood which early pirates used centuries ago. But luckily its still able to hold its own on the mighty seas. Tenju, the two Anbu, and Sumi found themselves in a large room beneath the deck, it was a rather fancy room, but a ship room nonetheless. Having four bunkers, wooden flooring, and glass windows it may seem high class to most people. Although since Sumi was the Kazekage being treated as a king was something that he gotten used to.

It was night on the rocky ship, and the stars lit up the night sky in such a way that a person might find it hard to look away. The two Anbu, Gira and Pakumi, stand outside the door guarding the entrance. Although Sumi told them to rest themselves, they were determined to keep Sumi safe from anything, even a fly. Although being the Kazekage, Sumi was also a elite ninja who went threw years on the field, and he found it quite annoying that he getting treated like hes handicapped. But this was protocol, and who he is to tell someone they can't do they're jobs.

As Gira and Pakumi did they're guarding duty outside the door, Sumi's attention fell to Tenju. Sumi, sitting on the edge of the lower bunker with a glass of alcohol in his hands, quenched his eyes. Maybe the alcohol was starting to kick in, but Sumi could keep himself under control. Sitting in a upright position, Sumi placed his left hand on the blue blanket beneath him, and clenched it. Wearing his blue silk pajama set, one would think he will feel embarrassed, but he never is. Swirling his glass of alcohol Sumi eyes drifted back to Tenju. “By morning we should be at the Moon Country, then our mission really begins.” He said dizzily as he took another quick sip of his drink. By this time Sumi was getting a light headache, and was dousing off. Placing in hands on his chest, Sumi concentrated, and his hands started to glow with green chakra. For a few seconds the chakra began to absorb into his body and Sumi breathed deeply.“Ah thats better. If you need anything ask Pakumi whose standing outside. Good night.” Sumi said faintly as he drifted off.

Tenju smiled as he watched the Kazekage wear his pijamas. He thought it was abit odd,but at the same time he tought it was nice. It meaned he was kind and didn't cared about anything. They ride through the whole night across the sea to get to their destination. Possibly arriving next thing in the morning. Tenju watched the Sumi as he got drunked till he couldnt handle himself anymore. The whole placed smelled like alcohol. He drank so much that he just gave up and lied down to sleep.

He remained seated for a few minutes and began to think from about a few hours ago.“Don't be afraid young one, I'll protect you with my life if needed.” Were the words that came across Tenju's mind. He was nervous but he clearly know that he could stand on his own at difficult occasions. Or atleast that's what had showed him over the past few years. He didn't wanted to let everyone know what he feels,and that was a reason he don't like to. They feel pitty for him. It was nice of him though, but Tenju is just not that person. After thinking about that so much he began to stretch his arm, and also his legs. And pushed himself off the small wooden table he was sitting on. He began to walk up some steps that led to the deck upstairs.

It wasn't that much steps before he came out of the cabin. The rain had finally stopped after several hours. The boat was still wet due to the rain, and the sky was with not a single star to see. It was just plainly a sky, it was a mysterious night. Tenju walked up and passed the two Anbus, just giving them a pat on their shoulders from the back as he passed by. He chuckled softly,as he kept on walking. He stood in the front of the ship where the resided at, there was this small chair and Tenju pulled it by his side.

He sat down and began to look at his front,thinking he would be the first on to see the Moon Country. After an hour or so,his eyes began to become watery, but he was fighting for it, he couldnt just go to sleep at such occasion,at any moment they could be there. His eye just gave up on Tenju as they slid down in the plain outside deck. Words slowly began to slide across his mouth and slowly faded away. "I'll protect you,Lord Kazek........."

Red, warm, and thick. The substance which have spilled on so many people, and so many hands. As Sumi lay on the bed sleep, blood was the only thing he saw in his dream. There Sumi was, in the middle of a battle field with a civilian in his arms. Tears ran down his pale face, and the aura of death engulfed his body as faint whispers came from his mouth. Sumi holding him, used every last bit of his chakra to heal him, but he was too far away to be healed. Sumi looked around, a massacre was taking place, and Suna was retreating. Screams of people echoed everywhere, it was too much for Sumi to bare. The screams became louder, and louder, and Sumi started to squirm in the covers.

Slowly his eyes started to open. Sweating, he used his sleeves to wipe it off and he breathed heavily. Luckily he didn't make a sound, if he did then the Anbu would have came in a made a scene, which he didn't want. These dreams were something Sumi was used to by now, some nights were worst then others. Sliding off the bed slowly, he got on his feet and looked at the small mirror sitting on a table. Shifting his eyes from the mirror to the window, he saw a clear blue sky. A sky that only comes after the rain, a sky that only comes after the pain. He symbolized the sky with life, there is always light after the dark. “I really need to get geared soon, were almost there.” He said calmly while slipping on his ninja gear.

While suiting up he wondered where Tenju was, maybe curiosity got the best of him. “Hmmm maybe hes on the dock?” Sumi thought while placing his scrolls into his pockets. Walking towards the door he turned the knob and opened the large wooden door. Revealing the two Anbu, they bowed to Sumi once they saw him. “Good morning lord Kazekage.” They both said lifting their heads back up. “How did you sleep?” Gira asked while putting on her Anbu mask. Smiling, Sumi was pleased that they asked, yet regretful. “Well I got drunk and dreamed and dreamed of beautiful women that resembled you Gira.” Sumi said with a small wink. Pakumi sighed heavily as both Sumi and Gira stared into each others eyes, and shook his head. “Lord Kazekage were almost there, we should go to the docks now.” Pakumi said while pointing at the staircase direction.

Making their way to the deck all three of them inhaled the fresh morning scent. Along with it, a fresh sea breeze flowed into the boat, leaving a mellow salt smell. The boat was soaking wet from the rain, but when reflecting the sunlight its beauty seemed eternal. Pakumi and Gira walked to the side of the boat, so they can get a better view of the sea. Sumi couldn't blame them, the ocean was a amazing site, and one that is highly appreciated coming from Suna. Sumi got a glimpse of Tenju sitting on a chair in the front part of the ship. It appeared that he was sleeping so Sumi lightly walked to the front. Gracious, quick, and light, Sumi perfected his movement to the point where he was soundless to many people. Now standing next the Tenju, he looked at the front view and saw a country coming closer and closer. It was the Moon Country. Plucking Tenju in the head humorously, Sumi smiled with excitement. “Hey Tenju, were here!” Sumi shouted.

Tenju was sleeping, just about to hit the jack pot. In his dream all he saw was girls, girsl running around in their bikinis. Tenju just laying down in a bench of the Moon countries's beache. Girls came running at him about to grab him as he felt something plucking him in the head. Sad enough that he had to get up from his dream he opened his eyes as he felt a cold finger touching his head. Tenju managed to get up, with a grumpy look on his face he fully opened the eyes. "Ugggh, what's is happnening?" Tenju said as he softly heard the voice of the Kazekage.“Hey Tenju, were here!”Yeah those were the words he heard as he tried to get up.

Tenju's eyes opened widly,as with a quick movement his legs became stiff and hard as he looked upon the boat. The Country seemed so clean and happy, it's like if Akatsuki weren't even there. Oddly ignoring the Kazekage he kept looking thinking about the things he could do around here. They were already in the dock of the moong country so they were ready to get down. "Finally......" Tenju said with a soft tone in his voice.

It was not later on since they got to the dock and ready to get down. Tenju wasn't much of a kind person,or atleast to those he didn't liked, but he was getting along pretty well with the Kazekage. But there was soemthing he knew, that this trip wasn't gonna be to take a vacation but to do a mission. A dangerous one too Tenju believed. As the boat touched ground, Tenju was the first one there in the boats exit to get out. Or atleast he just simply jumped out of the boat as he felt upon the cold waters of the country.

Tenju got out of the water as he still noticed that the Kazekage was taking his time. Perhaprs he was much afraid of the water of being in a place like the Wind Country, hot and dry. Those were the ony two words that could explain the sand village and the whole country. Tenju waited,as he had finally had noticed that he's the genin, and he's to follow up orders from the Kage. He stood firmly as he quickly pressed against his shirt to clean it. Then he spoke again. "So are you finally gonna come out or what?" He said as he smiled to the Kazekage.

Slowly taking his eyes off Tenju as he awakened, Sumi looked at the sun which was about to be covered by the clouds. As it began to cover a light shadow engulfed the area leaving a sense of darkness near. Although it wasn't a big deal, a calling of nature of be exact, it still left Sumi feeling uneasy. The past taught Sumi great awareness, and a sense to know that something wasn't right. Something was taken place, something Sumi couldn't put his finger on.

Shoving that though on the back of his mind, he didn't want to distress the young Genin Tenju. Even though he walks on the path of the ninja, he still wanted Tenju to enjoy his young life. So by that, he put on a bright smile and flushed color back in his face. “Finally.....” Tenju said as Sumi looked back at him. “Ugh, young people just don't know the meaning of patients!” Sumi thought while sighing heavily. Look over his shoulder, he saw the two Anbu having a good laugh and carrying on a conversation. As he watched Tenju make his way to the exit he flickered between the two Anbu with a suspicious look on his face.. Both looked at him shockingly, and even though they whore masks Sumi could tell they were embarrassed.

Fixing their posture back to a professional stance, they both cleared their throats. “Are you ready for departure Lord Kazekage?” Pakumi said quickly and rather off guard. Sumi smiled at the fact that both his top Anbu were flirtatious idiots, but they were good people at heart and skill. “Yes, but are you two ready?” Sumi asked nonchalantly while leaning on the railing. “Oh yes Lord Kazekage, why would we not?” Gira said while shaking a little. Sighing heavily Sumi casually leaned off the railing and began to walk. Both of them began to walk beside Sumi and tried to be as less noticeable as possible in the eyes of the Kage.

Walking off the boat with a peaceful smile and a conceited stature, Sumi noticed Tenju was waiting at the bottom. "So are you finally gonna come out or what?" Tenju said with a smile. Sumi side stepped the statement, and continued to walk down. With every other step there was a small creek in the wooden stairs, which he thought was very annoying but it broke the awkward silence from the three of them. Finally reaching the bottom, Sumi admired the beautiful grass which glistened all over the fields. It was a open area, not a lot of trees but tall grass and mountains in the background. Sumi's shifted his attention back to Tenju, standing a in sophisticated manner. “Lets go!” He said firmly with a sharp stare.
