The Rain Country

The Rain Country is one of the most secretive and strict countries in the ninja world. The country resembles most of the other countries, with forests dotting the landscape. It is unknown why the country is called Rain; it may be due to seasonal showers which give the region more rainfall than other countries. The country shares borders with Earth, Fire, Grass, River, Wind and Bird. Being centrally located between many of these countries has caused it to be their battleground in past wars. This strife caused the country to adopt strict border control. Any visitors must clearly state their purpose, length of stay and be kept under constant surveillance. This applies even when Rain Country holds the Chuunin Exams, security is their number one priority at all times.

Over about fifty yards outside the gates Ame to the south east the scene was serene and calm. A light wind blew through the general area, leaving a nice tickle of cold on the skin of any who were out doors. There was no sun, as there never was in these parts. The constant outcast weather outlook proved to be dreary and dismal, unless one was able to find a way to manipulate it into a form of life that suited his happy needs. For those who knew no other home, this place was perfect as any other, ...

Two days had passed since that meeting were a few upsetting occurrences had taken place. The akatsuki leader had done well in instating unrest and uncertainty in the minds of his followers, as well as a general distrust among them. Almost all of them had questioned the leader in some way or another, and in turn, were met with vague or arrogantly avoiding responses. He was sure many of them were unhappy with this as he was, but it was of no real consequence to him. His plans were not Vice's plans, ...

Once they have posted their intro into the meeting in one weeks time, I will post and the RP will begin. The Intro need only be 150words, just something to describe yourself entering the area and waiting..

An’barak stood atop a ledge, Overlooking his new…. Home of amegakure. The rain poured down on him, but bounced off his newly acquired Akatsuki robe. He had to admit, the black and red garment served far better than its former gray counterpart had. An enormous scroll, the scroll of Gul’dan, lay open at his feet, extending for nearly 15 feet, covered in ancient demonic writing. There was so much An’barak could learn from this… And he would have to start at the beginning. The first few ...

An’barak trudged through the forest, his cloak wrapped tightly around him. The thick canopy of trees above him dripped with water, as exorbitant amounts of rain somehow managed to still pour through the dense foliage. The cloth of his silk cloak was wet, and beginning to become cold, but An’barak ignored the discomfort. He had heard rumors of a tome of powerful demon lore existed somewhere within this land, and so he had come in search of the knowledge. If anyone could find it, it would be ...

Her affinity for water mader her so comfortable with water around that she acually prefered to have the water covering her body. The jug on her back was so heavy that most people wouldnt be able to even carry it, but she was so used to it now, that she didnt even notice it.
It was almost uncommon. IT was cloudy, but in many parts of the sky the sun was able to poke outward and shine onto the ground bellow. It was almost perfect weather for this area. The little sun was enough to heat the concrete and metal jungle that was as thick as any place that Konoha had to offer. The metal quickly turned the area humid as all standing water began to evaporate. It reminded Vice of the time directly after a rain where the stubborn clouds hung low in the sky, but lacked the mass ...

"Amegakure, Rain Country. And named rightfully so. Amegakure was blessed with the burden of handling the rains of the entire country. The same rains that led through River Country and provided Sunagakure with the water it so desperately thirsted for. It was the rains that provided the water in which the great forests of the Fire Country grew and the plains the jungles of Grass Country flourished. The life giving rains that had blessed the continent with the nourishment necessary to ...
